Installation with sound(1m30s), 2019Sound（5m36s）(2018-2019)
作家が関わりを持つ東京に住む海外からの移住者とそのコミュニティでの共同制作。アムハラ語、ベトナム語、英語、日本語におけるジェンダーを表現する単語を使った言葉遊びをそれぞれの話者と共に行い、その録音をミックスした作品。それぞれの社会によって言葉にする対象が異なることと、発音の面白さを発端にした。
協力者とは、普段指し示す対象を自明のものとして使うことが多い単語をあいまいな状態にさせるということを共有し、音節を区切って伸ばして発音したり、示す対象を混乱させるゲームなどのワークショップを行った。
複数のアプローチによって生まれた緩慢な言葉の乱れ、激しい言葉の応酬などの音楽的なリズムを作家が拾い編集した実験的な試みである。
